Valentine 5th Graders : Jack Kang, Jaan Kelly, Lila Wang, Maya Winarko, Emilia Wu, Rami Daoud, Zachary Cheng, Kellan Paek, Zachary Wu.
Championship's Award:
The awards recognize teams that fully embrace and excel in all areas of FLL. These teams have achieved excellence and innovation in both the Robot Game and Project and demonstrate outstanding Core Values.
"Robo Agents” and “Unicorns Of Doom Delivery Service Fueled by Chicken Nuggets and Mac&Cheese” are two fifth grade teams from Valentine that participated in the First Lego League Tournament that took place Saturday November 13 at La Canada High School. Only six out of seventeen teams could qualify and advance to the next round. It is no surprise that both Valentine Teams qualified and have advanced to the championships from this days teams, and will be competing again in December. This year’s FLL theme is “Cargo Connect”. The 17 Robot Missions that needed to be completed had a cargo and transportation theme to them and had to be completed in 2.5 minutes. Both teams worked hard and had a blast in the process, all while learning about Robotics, programming and coding! A big thank you to the coaches and the kids for their enthusiasm, hard work and innovation. Go Vikings!!!!!
