The Valentine Fall Fair kicks off our year as the first of many wonderful school events. This year the Fair has turned into a STAMPEDE and is joined with two fun events, the 4th Annual Shopping Boutique and an after-party (with Halloween theme this year), that we hope will bring our families together to build lasting memories for the kids while raising money for Valentine PTA-funded programs and projects. Please get involved because theSTAMPEDE is coming - and you don't want to be left behind.

There are lots of great opportunities to get involved as a volunteer, donor and participant.
PATRON DONORS: Please become a Patron Donor of the VIKING STAMPEDE with a direct donation. In celebration of our School's 75th Anniversary, we hope to have 75% participation among our Valentine families.
$50 Valentine Vikings ($5 Fair tickets)
$175 Viking Pride ($10 Fair tickets)
$100 Viking Spirit ($15 Fair tickets)
$250 Viking Honor ($25 Fair tickets)
$500 Viking Victor ($25 Fair tickets & 2 tickets to the Monster Mash)
$1,000 Viking Hero ($25 Fair tickets & 2 tickets to the Monster Mash & 4 Fair Wristbands)
VOLUNTEER: NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Sign up to help staff your child's class booth, support the Fair committee by helping with event set-up or tear-down, or be a part of Fair Day safety patrol.
DONATE: Bake and decorate a homemade cake for the popular CAKE WALK booth. Have fun and be creative with your decorations (store bought items are also welcome). We are also collecting gently used books, videos, CD's, DVD's and toys for our BOOK NOOK. Look for collection boxes at the pick up circles.
FAIR PACK ($100 PRE-ORDER ONLY): The Fair Pack includes a wristband, $10 worth of Fair tickets, jail), 2 cans of Silly String, a bottle of water, 'Get out of Jail Free' card and VIKING STAMPEDE backpack! Extra wristbands are available for $50 with the purchase of one FAIR PACK. Best Family Value!
FAIR WRISTBAND ($70 PRE-ORDER ONLY): The Fair Wristband gives your child unlimited play access at the Fair with no need to buy game/booth tickets. Some booths/activities will have limits as to how many times a wristband can be used in a single hour. Wristband good for one "send" to the jailhouse call. Wristbands do not cover food, drink, or some activities (i.e., face-painting and photo booth) or merchandise at the General Store.
VALENTINE 75TH ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATIVE TILE ($100): Decorate a commemorative ceramic TILE. Your family will be permanently mounted on the school campus, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Valentine Elementary School. Be part of our school's history.
LITTLE BUCKEROO TALENT SHOW ON THE BIG STAGE: The talent show is a big part of theVIKING STAMPEDE. Please encourage your children to participate and be a part of the show. It's a lot of fun and all are welcome! We look forward to seeing our Vikings sing, dance, play their favorite instrument or perform a skit. Registration will begin August 27th.GREEN FASHION SHOW: We are delighted to launch Valentine's first ever "Green Fashion Show" at the Valentine Fair. In celebration of our year-long "Go Green" Campaign to promote eco-awareness and social responsibility in our students, we hope our Valentine Vikings will get creative while they Go Green! Students of all ages are encouraged to create fun, recyclable outfits while learning how to protect the environment. Awards will be given to the Most Creative Green Viking, Best Go Green Design and the class with the most participation! Stay tuned for more details...
